Eli Cawthon, Relationship Manager

Eli joined Persium as a Relationship Manager in 2022, specializing in exit planning for owners of closely-held businesses. Prior to joining Persium, Eli served in the United States Army where he was a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment in Fort Benning, GA. He deployed once to Afghanistan. Next, Eli worked for Truist Securities (previously SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) for over five years with experience in both the leveraged finance and equity capital markets. Eli worked to source, screen, and execute leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, refinancings, initial public offerings, follow-on offerings and SPAC advisory for technology, media and telecommunications clients.

Eli graduated from Florida State University in 2011 with a degree in Political Science. In 2016, he earned his MBA from Florida State University with a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration the year prior. He also holds a NASBA Ethical Leadership Certification.

Eli was born and raised in the panhandle of Florida. He and his wife Erin have lived in Atlanta for over five years. In his spare time, Eli enjoys spending time with friends and family, discovering new restaurants around the city, cooking, playing golf, outdoor activities, traveling and supporting Florida State athletics.
