Persium Group Promotes Trey Prophater to Chief Revenue Officer
Trey Prophater has been promoted to Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Persium Group, an advisory firm specializing in wealth management, exit planning for business owners, and retirement plan services. In this expanded role, Prophater will lead the firm’s revenue strategy and growth initiatives, ensuring alignment across sales, business development, and client engagement.
Prophater has spent his entire career advising closely held business owners and brings decades of industry experience to his new role. Prior to joining Persium in 2011, he served for more than nine years in the banking industry, where he identified and implemented solutions for clients, including compensation and deferred compensation strategies, qualified retirement plans, and proprietary investment management strategies. Throughout his career, he has advised companies ranging from startups to organizations with several billion dollars in revenue.
As a Partner and member of the leadership team at Persium, Prophater has focused on new business development and client advisory work, specializing in helping closely held business owners plan for their business exit, designing investment strategies for institutional and individual investors, and supporting retirement plan sponsors in fulfilling their fiduciary responsibilities.

Prophater is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. A lifelong Atlanta resident, he is active in community organizations and coaches youth sports. Outside the office, he is an avid endurance athlete, having competed in Ironman triathlons, long-distance mountain bike races, and multi-day running and cycling events.
